FRICK, William F. of Kettering, passed away Thursday February 9, 2012. Preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Velma Frick and brother Frank Abel. He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Therese (Gerhard); son, Stephen; daughter, Karen (Joe) Mittermeier and grandchildren, Samantha and Matthew Mittermeier. Also survived by brothers, Jim (Jean) and John; sisters, Bobbie (Ron) Coy and Betty Johnston; brothers and sisters-in-law, Bill and Judy Gerhard, Marie and Ned Zerkel, Linda and Norm Miller and Daniel and Nancy Gerhard; several uncles, aunts, nephews nieces and cousins. Bill graduated from Fairmont East High School and Wright State University. He was a Medical Technologist, a Laboratory Manager and a Nursing Home Administrator. Having worked mainly at Good Samaritan Hospital, Ultrachem Biomedical Laboratory and Mercy Siena Woods. Bill was a Vietnam Veteran, serving in the United States Navy. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 12 noon on Thursday, February 16 at St. Albert the Great Church. Family will receive friends an hour preceding mass in the St. Albert the Great Church gathering space. Following Interment at Calvary Cemetery, a luncheon will be provided at St. Albert the Great Sprit Center. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Albert the Great Church or Hospice of Dayton.
